(I have edited the poem, Please forgive my late night faux pas.)
Every day is Valentine’s Day, when I’m with my love,
I lift my thanks to Almighty God, in Heaven above.
When I remember this time, before I met my soul mate,
it motivates me to pay attention, to this special date.
To all of you, throughout the lands on this globe,
remember the candy, flowers, or a new wardrobe.
Of course, this holiday is more than any worldly gift,
but to forget your sweetheart today, would cause a rift.
Hats off to February fourteenth, two-thousand eighteen,
when you honor your own special king or queen.
And to those of you, who have yet to meet your own,
don’t give up, they may be as near as your phone.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
