Chocolate or vanilla ice cream,
I need to make a decision.
It really isn’t a big deal,
nor requires a culinary vision.
Chocolate seems a bit softer,
sliding through my lips.
But it puts on the pounds,
when I eat three large dips.
Vanilla is smooth on the throat,
and it gives my tummy a hug.
If it drips on the office floor,
it won’t stain my white rug.
It’s not an important decision,
like a marriage contract or troth.
I like either flavor of ice cream,
why not order a scoop of both?
