Why didn’t God make the ark, by waving his right hand,

then, send the flooding rains, to cover the Earthly land?

Was there a reason that Noah, had to build his own ship,

before he and his family could begin that scary trip?

Could it be, that God wanted to send a message,

part of a plan, for mankind to see as a presage?

The LORD is patient, He wants to give us a chance,

to repent and seek forgiveness, to take a stance.

It’s no different, in our modern world today,

where we prefer, to party, cheat, covet, and play.

Our Creator could end the world, without a warning,

but, He gives us signs, so we won’t be mourning.

Who know the little lessons, the Bible teaches us,

in a true story, with fellow believers we can discuss.

The Good Book, is full of advice for our daily life,

don’t hide it from strangers, friends, husband, or wife!

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.” – Genesis 6:14-16 (KJV)
