Where are my glasses, can you assist?
I want to go shopping, I need a list.
The kids are screaming, the dog is sick,
no time for delay, I must act quick.
I’ve looked in the bedroom, under the bed,
when I opened the closet, I hit my head.
Inside the drawer, I searched the socks,
no stone unturned, I probed the litter box.
What a helpless feeling, my vision is poor,
there’s no way I can drive, to the local store
Is it time to give up, no glasses in this place,
my daughter whispers, “there on your face.”
